Double Dutch

At the January meeting, we made these double dutch cards (courtesy of Splitcoast Stampers for the tutorial).

We used a template that had been cut out using an electronic cutting machine to make it easier for everyone to make the card in a short time. However, the dimensions and instructions were also provided at the meeting.

The cards in the samples shown on this blog were made using printed images from the Card Making World Printable Craftshop. They are in a set called Rag Dolls. The background papers are from the Painted Birdhouses Clip Art at the same website.

The images were cut using Make the Cut Software and the Black Cat Cougar in a print and cut process.

Looking forward to seeing the other examples made by people who were at the meeting!

This is another double dutch card with faux stitching around the die cut label die. The image is another from the Rag Doll Clip Art collection which was cut using the print and cut method.

Denise made this card for her Grandson's 8th birthday. He is a football fan!

Pamela made this card using a peel-off she got when she was in Auckland. I love how the bottom part of the card looks like the cuffs on a shirt!

The colours on this card made by Pamela are just stunning.
